Pleix is a virtual community of digital artists based in Paris. Some of them are 3D artists, some others are musicians or graphic designers. Becides the KID606 Video are other music videos, inclusive a video for the plaid contest by warprecords.
Although of English and Canadian origins, Plastikman's Richie Hawtin is closely connected with the current Detroit techno scene associated with figures such as Kenny Larkin, Stacey Pullen, Eddie Fowlkes, and Derrick May. His Plus 8 label -- co-owned and operated with John Acquaviva -- is one of the most influential experimental dance music imprints, and Hawtin's own tracks recorded as Plastikman and F.U.S.E.. are highly regarded as faithful, intelligent, forward-stepping updates of the Detroit sound. 
Kid606's music is impossible to pigeonhole. Citing influences from Napalm Death to Modest Mouse to Joy Division, he spits out spastic, scatterbrained, and utterly beautiful electronic music. Born in Venezuela as Miguel Depedro, Kid606 now lives in San Francisco, where he runs the Tigerbeat6 label out of his comfy abode. In many ways, the style of Kid606's music mirrors the role he has established for himself (or been thrust into by the music press) in the electronic music scene.
