Tatsuki Masaru: "My aim was not just the truck as an object, but more about the people. Who are these people? How do they live, how do they think? That's what I wanted to know. Once I started going to those events, I got to know the people, and then started communicating with them, visiting them, talking to them — not necessarily taking photos, but talking to them to get to know who they are. And that was the process, over the 10 years I got to know the people and then started shooting their trucks and they themselves." Read the whole interview
