Hi everebody,
this weblog has been abandoned for a long time. Formerly this was my personel weblog but I didn't wrote very much. I hope to post more often from now on, focusing on artists mentioned in the music magazine THE WIRE and provide links to sound and video files. The magazine is written in english, so I decided to write my webpage also in english. This is not an official WIRE site, it's just that I like the magazine so much because every issue is like a big journey and so I started to collect links to sound- and videofiles. As you might guessed, I am not an english native speaker. I'm German so there will be defenetly some spelling mistakes.
The are two ways to search this site for specific content. You can browse this site by "topics". To do so, choose a specific issue of the WIRE from the drop down menue in the right coloum.
If you are looking for a certain artist use the "search" function, which is also in the right coloum.
Usually I don't link the soundfile directly, instead the links will lead you to the webpage were the direct link can be found. If you can't find the link to the soundfile on the linked webpage, than there are two reasens. First, you might just don't see it. Therefore press Ctrl + f. That should open a little "search window" asking you to enter a term. This Term will be searched and highlitend, when found. This "search window" is not a feature of the specific webpage, it's a feature of most windows aplications. Second, the file might have been removed :-(
If you can't find what you are looking for, got to the The Unofficial Wire Audio Companion. This site is doing the same as me, but for a longer time. Also a very good source of high quality sound files is Epitonic.com
